Karen has been a licensed real estate agent since 2001 and attended East Carolina University. Her flexibility, listening skills, and strategic problem-solving abilities are a breath of fresh air in the Triangle real estate market for both buyers and sellers. Always vigilant, Karen is an expert at keeping her clients focused on the big picture.
Selfless, outgoing, and determined, Karen Dupree Williams loves helping professionals, couples, and families find their perfect homes. “Meeting so many different people from all over the world, and being a part of their happiness to buy a home means everything to me,” Karen says. Known as “the Persevering Agent,” providing quick and efficient results are of the highest value to her; all while developing a trusting relationship with her clients. Because of her passion for helping her clients, she is known for taking extra time and care when preparing market analyses, explaining purchase and sales agreements in detail, and being available on a schedule that works for the client.
Prior to real estate, Karen was a Property Manager for Signature Place Apartments in Greenville, NC where she gained knowledge in both rental properties and client care.
Living in Lillington, she is very knowledgeable and familiar with Wake, Harnett, and Johnston Counties. “I have been in the area my entire life and have watched it grow. I love the convenience of every social, athletic, and shopping opportunity within minutes of any community in our area,” she says. Her husband, Rob, is a home inspector and she has two children, Elizabeth and Reid. Elizabeth works alongside Karen as a REALTOR with the Triangle to Coast Realty team and Reid is a sports-loving elementary school student. The family likes to spend time together at their beach house on the NC Coast. Karen says, “the sunsets are the best in the world to me!” They also enjoy traveling to new places in both the US and abroad. As a way to relax, she also enjoys a long walk on a sunny North Carolina day.
Karen grew up in Angier, NC giving her an extra edge and knowledge about the local area. Her favorite thing about Angier is the small-town feel and that it is a quaint, agricultural community.
Always giving back to the community, Karen is the President and founding member of Riley’s Army Triangle Chapter. This non-profit / charity organization’s mission is to provide support to children with cancer and their families in North Carolina. As a State Political Coordinator for NCAR, she volunteers her time to work with NC Senators to be a voice for the real estate industry’s needs. Additionally, she proudly serves as a member of the inaugural Angier Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Karen was honored to have been appointed as the first of 11 dedicated individuals committed to enhancing Angier's recreational offerings. Leveraging her passion for community enrichment, she actively contributes insights and advocates for initiatives that promote accessible and inclusive recreational opportunities for all residents.
