Meet Michelle Hughes

I began my real estate career in 2007 in West Virginia, where I quickly developed a passion for helping people navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives. In 2010, I expanded my business into Maryland after earning my Maryland real estate license, continuing to serve clients across both Maryland and West Virginia through 2025.

In 2024, I relocated to North Carolina and have proudly held my license here ever since.  I am a full-time real estate professional representing buyers and sellers in residential, land, and investment transactions in the Triangle area.  My approach is rooted in education, communication, and advocacy—ensuring every client feels informed, supported, and confident from start to finish.

I hold several respected designations through the National Association of REALTORS®, including Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) and Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI). I am also a Certified Real Estate Negotiator (CREN) and Certified Expert Listing Agent (CELA), credentials that reflect my commitment to excellence and my skill in navigating complex negotiations and market conditions.

Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated not only to my clients but also to my colleagues and community. I’ve served in leadership roles at both the state and local REALTOR® levels and have volunteered my time at the local food bank and as an EMT with the fire department—service that has shaped my belief in compassion, preparedness, and teamwork.

My greatest passion is guiding buyers and sellers through one of the biggest purchases or sales of their lives. My goal is always to make the process seamless, transparent, and stress-free. With strong market analysis skills and expert negotiation experience, I work tirelessly to protect my clients’ best interests.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my awesome family and friends, reading a good book, relaxing on the boat, or enjoying a ride on my motorcycle.
