We have some exciting news to share: Karen has been nominated for the 2026 Triangle Real Producers IMPACT AWARD, which recognizes individuals who make a difference through community service, nonprofit work, and charitable giving.
If you know Karen, this probably doesn’t surprise you. She’s celebrating her 25th year in real estate, and the work she’s most proud of often happens outside of a closing. For years she has served the children and families facing childhood cancer through Riley’s Army Triangle, and it’s a cause she gives her heart to. Karen is a woman of deep faith, and she truly believes God places us where we’re meant to make a difference.
There’s another reason this nomination means so much to her. Linda Trevor, Karen’s former team leader and mentor of 12 years, is nominated alongside her. Karen has admired and learned from Linda for a long time, so sharing the ballot with her already feels like a win.

The Impact Award honors an individual who makes a tangible, positive difference in the community through dedicated nonprofit work, charitable initiatives, local fundraising, or cause-driven leadership. Anyone who has worked with Karen knows that description fits her well. She often says that making a living is important, but making a difference is what truly matters.
